Eloquent Dance is a proudly Black, female-led company founded by mother-daughter duo, Romanah and Janice.
With over a decade of leadership at the helm, we've built more than a dance company we’ve cultivated a movement rooted in dance, excellence, and empowerment.

The story of Eloquent began humbly, around Janice’s kitchen table, sparked by a word from God and a dream to create space for young people and individuals to see themselves represented in one another.
What started as a small community project has evolved into a nationally recognised creative organisation, empowering lives through the power of dance and creative community.

Today, Eloquent Dance stands as a bold, trailblazing force within the arts sector. Nurturing the next generation of dancers, leaders, and change-makers.

We believe in the power of movement to inspire, heal, and uplift. Every class, performance, and programme we deliver is designed to unlock potential, build confidence, and create real opportunities for young people and individuals, particularly those from underserved communities.
